ELAK CONCERT with latest pieces by the ELAK stundents at the mdw. Finnian Treherne presented his piece “Momentum” .

“This piece is very special to me as it was my first piece during my first semester of studies. I decided to implement a combination of sampled instrumenents of personal recordings, some processed with effects and some not. A very personal aspect to this piece is the Djemebe I played to addrhythmic textures that were so important in my childhood in Tuscany. The yearly giostras, where many drummers would parade through my home town, something I found very thrilling and to this day believe was one of the first musical influences I had." - Finnian Treherne
