Release of “Photonic Forest” on all major streaming platforms. This piece is about nature and the question, whether humanity with all its´ involvement in destroying the planet we live on, can still be part of nature. This piece was first composed for and performed at the “ELAK SOMMER CONCERT” of 2023 and then at the “KOMETENTURNEN #02”.

This piece began in Schrattenberg, Austria. Together with my colleagues, we had a workshop there organised by my professors of the ELAK. We focused on nature and our own work, without any given rules. I spent all my time in the woods and on the grounds of the old Schrattenberg castle ruin, which was our direct neighbour for a week. Birds, wind, the train sounds from the valley below and waterfalls were the themes I explored, recording them with my field recorder. This later evolved into this piece, Photonic Forest.
